Travel Between Properties May Be Required Job Overview:
Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to support property maintenance and renovations. This role is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including repairs, installations, and unit turns to ensure apartments are move-in ready and well maintained.Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry repairs and installations (drywall, cabinets, doors, windows, tile, insulation) Complete apartment turns, including repairs and touch-up work Measure, cut, and install materials to meet project specifications Assist with kitchen and bath renovations as needed Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Document maintenance activity and report issues to the Service Supervisor Provide excellent service and complete work orders in a timely manner Maintain clean and organized workspaces and shop areas Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Fair Housing regulations Support the maintenance team as needed Assist with snow removal and emergency weather response Maintain property security by properly handling keys and access Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:
Experience with residential carpentry, including drywall, doors, cabinets, and tile Strong measuring, cutting, and installation skills Experience with apartment turns or renovations preferred Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Strong time management and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a teamRequirements:
