Job Description

Custom Home Builder & Millwork Division - Eastern Shore, MD We are a high-end custom home builder with an in-house millwork shop seeking skilled craftsmen to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on custom homes, architectural millwork, cabinetry, stair systems, built-ins, trim packages, and specialty woodworking projects from fabrication through installation. Position Summary The ideal candidate is an experienced millworker, millwork installer, or trim carpenter who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and attention to detail. You will work in both our millwork shop and on job sites, fabricating and installing custom architectural woodwork, cabinetry, stairs, doors, moldings, and trim packages. Typical responsibilities align with industry millwork and finish carpentry roles, including blueprint interpretation, fabrication, assembly, and installation. Responsibilities Fabricate custom cabinetry, built-ins, moldings, stair components, and architectural millwork Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, shapers, routers, planers, sanders, and CNC equipment Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom millwork with a high level of accuracy Install cabinets, doors, trim, crown molding, wall panels, stair parts, and specialty woodwork Perform punch-out work and field modifications as required Install hardware and complete final adjustments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with project managers, lead carpenters, and other trades to ensure quality installations Represent the company professionally with homeowners and clients Qualifications 3+ years of experience in millwork, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, or custom woodworking Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment Experience installing cabinetry, trim, built-ins, doors, and custom millwork Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders and scaffolding when required Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Preferred Qualifications Cabinet shop experience Stair building and installation experience Veneer, laminate, and architectural millwork experience Ability to lead projects or crews
Pay:
$25-$40+ per hour depending on experience
