Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter Helper / Laborer, where your energy and enthusiasm will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will assist skilled carpenters and construction crews by performing foundational tasks, handling tools, and supporting various phases of construction and restoration projects. Duties Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools Support framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation tasks Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials Handle heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, concrete forms, rebar, and fixtures Aid in the installation of doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures according to schematics and blueprints Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold cleanup, and structural repairs Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related manual labor roles is preferred but not required Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry techniques such as framing or trim work is advantageous Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics helps in understanding project requirements Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, or roofing enhances your versatility on the job Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is essential for success in this role Previous exposure to restoration industry practices or remodeling projects is a plus Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in carpentry and construction trades Join us today to build a rewarding career where your effort makes a real impact!
