Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and labor tasks, contributing to residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your energy, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools, including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, siding, and fixture installation Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project plans for framing, roofing, drywall, stucco, masonry, and other construction tasks Prepare construction sites by performing heavy lifting, demolition, site cleanup, and material handling Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other specialized restoration industry tasks Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site using woodworking machinery or CNC equipment as needed Install doors, windows, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and metal studs for interior and exterior projects Support roofing activities including shingle application and waterproofing; perform siding installation and repair work as required Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and construction equipment Ability to read blueprints or schematics; experience with construction estimating is a plus Knowledge of various carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation and door hanging Familiarity with building codes related to masonry, electrical work, plumbing or roofing is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of working on ladders or scaffolding for extended periods Strong communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Prior experience in restoration industry projects or water damage remediation is desirable This role is ideal for proactive individuals eager to expand their expertise across diverse construction disciplines. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
