Job Description

Centerline Design and Build is a high-end residential design/build firm seeking experienced carpenters who take pride in their craftsmanship and want to grow both professionally and personally. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction and be capable of performing a wide range of carpentry tasks with precision and efficiency. This role will involve frame to finish carpentry.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials Install doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, and trim Repair and maintain existing structures and fixtures Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations Collaborate with other construction professionals and team members Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter (typically 5+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials Being able to work in a team environment Ability to read technical documents and drawings Proficiency with hand and power tools Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and punctuality Valid drivers license Preferred Qualifications Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training Experience in both rough and finish carpentry Experience with installing doors, windows, staircases, and cabinetry Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards Work Environment Work performed on residential properties May involve working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and exposure to various weather conditions Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Paid Holidays 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for overtime and advancement
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
