Job Summary:
The Carpenter is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, windows, and other carpentry-related tasks. You will work independently or as part of a team, supporting various carpentry projects.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Construction Services and Repairs:
Inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain woodwork and related structures.
Customer Communication:
Serve as a company liaison with customers.
Record Keeping:
Accurately complete service-related documents and paperwork. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in record keeping and invoicing procedures.
Training & Development:
Actively participate in available training and apply information to the job role. Seek performance feedback and continuous improvement.
Safety:
Always maintain safety standards. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and reporting of all company property.
Crew Management:
Responsible for the onsite job team of 1-3 people
Specific Job Skills:
Strong carpentry skills, especially exterior/interior trim, framing, and installs Experience with flashing, framing, or low-slope installs Excellent customer service skills Ability to operate various contractor tools (hand and pneumatic, drills, saws, etc.) Ability to recognize on-site risk factors Regularly climb ladders and/or scaffolding for repair/install tasks Sense of responsibility and ownership for projects Clear understanding of company mission and values
Requirements:
3+ years of construction/carpentry experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic tool set (own tools preferred) High school diploma or
GED OSHA
10-hour or EPA Lead RRP certification Solid carpentry experience and construction industry knowledge Ability to work efficiently and safely in a variety of home environments Willingness to follow company procedures and communicate clearly with the team Comfortable working solo, or as part of a team Integrated Construction Services LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
