Valid Driver's License (with a clean driving record) The Opportunity You will serve as a vital, hands-on field professional designed for a motivated, detail-oriented carpenter who wants to grow into a leadership position. Working directly alongside our experienced Project Foremen, you will assist in executing premier residential remodels. This role allows you to learn a proven production process from the ground up and advance your career into construction management with a respected, organized, and growing company that deeply values your work-life balance. How You Will Make An Impact Assist the Project Foreman with all phases of residential remodeling, including demolition, rough framing, cabinet installation, siding, J-channel, and finish trim carpentry. Execute precise structural cuts and general construction tasks in strict accordance with project prints, specifications, and client selections. Maintain an immaculate, safe, and highly organized jobsite daily, enforcing strict dust management, floor protection, and thorough end-of-day cleanups. Proactively anticipate the required tools, fasteners, and materials needed for daily production phases to maximize jobsite efficiency. Support the Foreman in coordinating, monitoring, and verifying on-site trade partners and material deliveries. Log daily progress updates and report tool or material shortages to the Foreman immediately to maintain a "no-surprises" policy and avoid delays. Act as a trustworthy primary field representative by maintaining polite, professional interactions with clients to protect the company brand. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically within the residential construction or remodeling fields (framing, trim carpentry, or general remodeling preferred). Proven ability to accurately read structural tape measures, interpret basic design layouts, and understand residential building materials. Must possess standard personal hand tools and framing/trim pouches (specialized power tools provided). Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing daily field documentation and client interactions. Reliability to execute strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, navigating tight crawlspaces/attics, and standing for 8-hour shifts. Must possess reliable personal transportation to commute to the office, along with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated experience in supervising or coordinating third-party trade partners (subcontractors) on a residential jobsite. Completion of a formal carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent residential technical training. Advanced layout knowledge across multiple remodeling disciplines, including complex structural additions and custom kitchen/bath built-ins.
