Finish Carpenter Michigan Locations:
Fraser, Port Huron, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, Warren, and W. Bloomfield Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. This position involves performing high-quality renovations, remodels, and build-outs for residential and healthcare properties throughout the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, construction, and finish work, as well as a strong understanding of safety and compliance standards in healthcare environments. Skills Required Maintain and remodel 16 properties (commercial and residential) Perform carpentry tasks including framing, drywall, trim, flooring, doors, and cabinetry installation. Renovate and remodel existing residential and healthcare spaces according to plans, specifications, and code requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately and efficiently. Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized in compliance with OSHA and healthcare facility standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget. Troubleshoot on-site construction challenges and provide creative solutions. Travel to multiple job sites throughout Metro Detroit as needed. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling or commercial/healthcare build-outs. Valid Michigan Builder's License (required). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and effectively. Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge (preferred). Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Metro Detroit. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
