Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Carpenter to join our residential construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-quality finish work for custom and production homes, with attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. This position involves installing interior trim, flooring, doors, cabinetry, tile, and other finishing components that contribute to the final appearance and quality of completed homes. Responsibilities Install door and window casing, baseboards, crown molding, and other interior trim components. Measure, cut, and install wood flooring, engineered flooring, and related finish materials. Install interior and exterior doors, including hardware and adjustments. Perform tile installation for floors, backsplashes, showers, and other residential applications. Install cabinetry, shelving, mantels, and custom woodwork as required. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. Ensure all finish work meets company quality standards and homeowner expectations. Inspect completed work and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to maintain construction schedules. Identify and resolve construction or installation issues as they arise. Preferred Qualifications Experience with custom home construction. Knowledge of basic framing and general construction practices. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
