Project Scope:
Residential and light commercial construction, exterior repair, framing, trim, and additions.
Mandatory Licences & Certifications:
Valid Driver's License. The Opportunity You will serve as a skilled field professional, executing critical carpentry, framing, and exterior remodeling projects safely and accurately. This role allows you to showcase your individual craftsmanship while collaborating with a dedicated crew on diverse residential and light commercial builds. You will have the independence to own your assigned tasks with the back-end support of a structured, family-owned company. How You Will Make an Impact Execute high-quality framing, trim, fascia, soffit, sheathing repair, rot repair, and siding support. Utilize precise carpentry methods to measure, cut, fit, and fasten diverse building materials. Manage finish work, adjustments, corrections, and punch list tasks to ensure complete job accuracy. Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsite standards in strict accordance with safety protocols. Report hidden structural damage, material requirements, and safety hazards to management early. Capture accurate job documentation, including photos, job notes, and material usage via mobile systems. Communicate professionally with managers, coworkers, homeowners, and builders to maintain project momentum. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of hands-on carpentry, framing, exterior construction, remodeling, or repair experience. Proven ability to measure, cut, fit, and install structural and exterior materials with minimal oversight. Absolute willingness to work safely on ladders, roofs, elevated surfaces, and active jobsites. Strong communication skills necessary for updating project managers and interacting professionally with clients. Possession of reliable personal transportation and physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated experience in residential remodeling environments with active customer property protection. Advanced knowledge of roofing-related carpentry including sheathing replacement, flashing, and exterior tie-ins. Completion of specialized training in siding systems, cedar work, fiber cement, or light structural repairs. Proficiency in interpreting basic architectural drawings, sketches, and detailed project measurements.
