Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for experienced, detail-oriented Carpenters to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with our project manager and field crew to build, install, and repair both residential and commercial structures and components. Project scopes include framing, partitions, door and window systems, stair assemblies, rafters, flooring, and exterior finishes such as siding, soffit, and fascia. Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints, work confidently with both rough and finish materials, and operate standard construction tools and equipment. This is a full-time, year-round position. Job Summary The Construction Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, erecting, and repairing structural elements, forms, and fixtures to support a wide range of building projects. Responsibilities Measure, mark, and prepare materials according to blueprints or direction from supervisors. Cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials as needed. Use a variety of hand and power tools to build structures safely and efficiently. Secure materials using appropriate fasteners such as nails, screws, staples, or adhesives. Verify accuracy and alignment using levels, framing squares, and other measuring tools; make adjustments as necessary. Build and set forms for concrete work and specialty constructions such as tunnels, bridges, or utility structures. Assemble and dismantle scaffolding. Install windows, doors, and related components. Follow all applicable building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines. Perform additional related tasks as needed. Requirements Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and construction plans. Strong mathematical and measurement skills. Competence in safely operating and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment. Solid understanding of carpentry methods, materials, and best practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Education & Experience Completion of a vocational school, technical program, or apprenticeship OR a minimum of three years of verifiable on-the-job experience required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Capacity to work safely with sharp tools and power equipment. Comfortable working in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain. Strong manual dexterity, balance, and hand-eye coordination.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
