Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finish carpentry work that enhances the aesthetic and functional quality of residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Your expertise will ensure that all interior and exterior finishes meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects where your attention to detail and mastery of carpentry skills will make a tangible impact. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components with precision. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as framing, drywall finishing, caulking, and stucco application. Fabricate custom woodwork or metal fixtures as needed for specific project requirements. Install flooring, siding, roofing components, and perform masonry or tile work when required. Perform restoration tasks including water damage repair, mold remediation, plastering, and rebar installation to restore structures to their original condition. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in finish carpentry within construction or restoration industries. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, sanders, nail guns; and heavy machinery if applicable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on scaffolding or ladders. Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, fixture hanging, door hanging, cabinetry installation, flooring laying (tile and wood), and siding application. Experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, plumbing integration or electrical experience is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; strong communication skills for coordinating with team members. Valid driver's license preferred; OSHA certification is advantageous.
