  • Cambridge, MN Shaw Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter/Subcontractor to join our growing team.
We are looking for dependable professionals who take pride in quality craftsmanship and can work independently on a variety of residential construction and remodeling projects.
Position Type:
1099 Independent Contractor Position Full-Time / Consistent Work Available Competitive Pay Based on
Experience Job Responsibilities:
Light framing Finish and trim carpentry Window and door installations Deck construction and repairs Small remodeling projects Flooring installation General residential construction tasks
Requirements:
Prior carpentry/remodeling experience required Must be registered as a subcontractor with the State of Minnesota Must carry current liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance Must provide own tools and reliable transportation Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Drug-free workplace Strong work ethic and professionalism required
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to read plans and follow scopes of work Strong attention to detail and finish quality Good communication and time management skills Experience working directly with homeowners and contractors
