In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Your energy, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise will help ensure safety, quality, and efficiency throughout each phase of construction. Duties Assist with framing, trim carpentry, and cabinetry installation to create durable structures and aesthetic finishes. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Install fixtures such as doors, siding, flooring, tiles, cabinetry, and other building components with precision. Support fabrication and assembly processes for custom projects or manufacturing purposes. Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on busy construction sites. Assist with plumbing, electrical work, drywall hanging, caulking, painting, and general handyman tasks to support project completion. Follow schematics and technical instructions to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in a related trades environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as CNC machines is advantageous. Knowledge of various carpentry disciplines including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, cabinet installation, door hanging, and roofing is essential. Experience in restoration industry projects such as water damage repair or mold remediation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites combined with excellent teamwork skills will set you up for success.
