In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to building, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced carpenters eager to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing tasks with precision. Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively. Install fixtures, drywall (including plastering), stucco, water damage restoration components, and other building elements. Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and metal stud framing as required. Assist with remodeling projects, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and HVAC components. Support restoration industry projects such as mold remediation and water damage repair while maintaining safety protocols. Measure accurately using tape measures and schematics; ensure all work complies with building codes and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete heavy lifting tasks and manage construction site logistics efficiently. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; report any safety hazards immediately. Experience Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter or in a similar construction role with a focus on commercial or residential projects. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, framing (including metal studs), roofing, siding, drywall installation, and fixture mounting. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and CNC machinery; heavy equipment operation preferred. Familiarity with restoration processes including mold remediation and water damage repair industry standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; experience working on construction sites with diverse project scopes is essential. Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, masonry techniques, flooring installation methods, tile laying procedures, and caulking/stucco application is highly desirable. Strong understanding of schematics for electrical or mechanical systems; ability to adapt plans on-site as needed.
