Deck Builder Lead Carpenter (Crew Lead)

Job Overview We are hiring a skilled Deck Builder / Lead Carpenter to run a small 3-person crew building residential and commercial decks. This is year-round work with steady hours, strong pay, and a company that values experienced carpenters who can lead from the front. Key Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a crew building decks and outdoor structures Measure, cut, and install framing, decking, stairs, and railing systems Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Assign daily tasks and ensure projects stay on schedule Train and mentor crew members on tools, safety, and best practices Maintain job site safety and ensure OSHA compliance Communicate with project managers and team members on progress and timelines Inspect work for quality and accuracy Requirements 3+ years of carpentry experience (deck building

REQUIRED

) Strong hands-on construction skills (framing, decking, outdoor structures) Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications Reliable, detail-oriented, and strong work ethic Comfortable leading or guiding a small crew (formal supervision not required) Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
