Charleston, MO | Full-time/Part-time | based on experience, plus production-based earning potential Smith Built Contracting Co. is a fast-growing, start-up portable building and tiny home manufacturer in Charleston, MO building for an established portable building company. We're hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to run jobs and lead a small crew building portable buildings, tiny homes, sheds, and custom structures. What You'll Do Lead a small crew on builds from start to finish Frame walls, roofs, and floors Install siding, trim, doors, and windows Read plans and run the job with minimal supervision Train and mentor crew members Keep every build to Smith Built's quality standard What You Need Proven carpentry/framing experience Crew leadership experience preferred Reliable transportation Strong work ethic, shows up every day Willing to learn What We Offer Pay based on experience plus production-based upside Year-round work, no seasonal layoffs Advancement opportunities Small team, training for the right person
