Framing Carpenter

Job Summary:

Boss Sheds specializes in post-frame construction and large red-iron commercial buildings, and we are seeking a few reliable, detailed, and skilled Carpenters with wood and steel framing experience to join our team and contribute to a variety of residential and commercial building projects.

Duties:

Execute frame carpentry for building frameworks such as walls, floors, and door & window frames. Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing pole barn materials, including posts, trusses, garage doors, metal panels (tin), and fasteners. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, shoveling, and moving heavy objects. Help with site preparation, including layout, grading, and clean-up. Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as concrete forming and metal building erection. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all phases of construction. Will be required to work outside in cold and heat - approximately 40 hours/week.

Required Skills:

MUST SUPPLY OWN TOOL BAGS WITH BASIC HAND TOOLS. OSHA-10

Certification will be required within 60 days of employment. Proven experience in carpentry work. Experience with sheet metal roofing and siding. Experience with heavy equipment operation. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Knowledge of masonry techniques, trim carpentry, concrete forming, roofing, and siding application. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and guidelines. Good communication skills and ability to follow or give instructions accurately.

Start Time:

6:00 AM in Trimble, MO Monday - Friday 40 hours guaranteed weekly, with no weekends!
