Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craft while contributing to diverse building and restoration projects. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings to accurately execute project plans. Perform concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and metal stud framing as needed. Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, windows, and other hardware with precision. Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, and mold remediation. Support fabrication and assembly of custom components in manufacturing or onsite settings. Handle heavy lifting and perform demolition or site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. Experience in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation. Familiarity with roofing techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and water damage restoration is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
