Carpenter

Overview :

ReadySite is a general trades company supporting commercial construction projects across North Carolina. We provide skilled labor and site services to help keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. We're currently looking for a reliable, experienced Carpenter to join our team in the Asheville area. This role involves hands-on work on active commercial jobsites and requires someone who takes pride in quality, safety, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general carpentry and jobsite handyman work Assist with temporary construction (fencing, handrails, protection, etc.) Support task-based scopes such as selective demo, finishes, and concrete Read and follow basic plans and instructions Maintain a clean and safe work area Work closely with site supervisors and other trades

Requirements:

Previous carpentry experience required Basic hand and power tool knowledge Must have basic personal hand tools Reliable transportation Comfortable working on active commercial jobsites This role requires consistent attendance and reliability Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check, where permitted by law Employment is contingent upon completion of a drug screening, where permitted by law.

Additional Considerations:

First Aid / CPR / AED training Forklift / Lull certified OSHA 10 or 30 certified Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors and on active jobsites

Project Duration:
