We are looking for an experienced Carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and doing quality work in occupied and custom residential environments. Position Overview The Carpenter will support field operations on custom residential construction and remodeling projects. This role requires strong hands-on carpentry ability, especially in framing, doors, windows, trim, and general residential construction. The ideal candidate is dependable, tool-ready, comfortable working on active residential jobsites, and able to perform quality work without heavy hand-holding. Responsibilities Perform residential framing for walls, floors, roofs, soffits, fascia, and related structural components. Install and trim pre-hung doors, door slabs, windows, and custom residential components. Complete detailed interior and exterior finish carpentry, including trim, crown molding, baseboards, and related finish work. Read basic project plans, measurements, and field instructions accurately. Support lead carpenters and field teams in maintaining project pace and quality standards. Work safely and professionally in occupied homes and custom residential environments. Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites. Adapt to changing site conditions, weather, and project needs. Lift, carry, and maneuver building materials weighing 60+ lbs as needed. Communicate clearly with field leads, team members, and management. Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of professional residential carpentry, remodeling, or framing experience. Proven ability in structural framing, door/window installation, and interior trim work. Comfortable using standard hand tools and power tools required for daily carpentry tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing 60+ lbs. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to work well with a small field team. Preferred Qualifications 3-5+ years of residential general contracting, remodeling, or custom build experience. Experience working in occupied homes or high-end/custom residential settings. High School Diploma or GED. OSHA, fall protection, lift, or other safety/technical training. Experience helping train or mentor junior carpenters.
