UFP Site Built dba Patriot Building Systems in Londonderry, NH is currently hiring for Carpenters/Framers to join the team! Patriot Building Systems, LLC is a recognized leader in commercial wood framing, delivering precision and reliability through a team of highly skilled craftsmen. Serving New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Vermont, and Northern Massachusetts. Job Description - Carpenter / Framer Our Framers are responsible for assisting the carpentry foreman, overseeing the work of apprentices and laborers, manually securing, moving, assembling, and installing lumber products operating a variety of woodworking machines and tools to cut, shape, fasten, and install building materials associated with wood framing. Assists in the training of employees. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Assist with coordination and supervision of other carpentry workmen. Receives and accounts for all job site materials and ensures proper storage and use. Coordinate with carpentry foremen daily. Comply with and enforce all company policies Attend the training sessions for your position offered by the company. Maintain a positive company image with appropriate language, dress, and behavior Fabrication and installation of basic components required in commercial carpentry framing Keep the job site organized and clean Provide your own hand tools and belt Maintain and use your Personal Protective Equipment at all times Ensure a safe job site. Keep Carpentry Foreman advised of progress problems Performs other duties as required Requirements Preferred GED or equivalent Preferred proficiency in reading and writing English Preferred knowledge of lumber and engineered wood products, wood framing anchors, and connections and how they are assembled and used in hand frame and panelized buildings.
