Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Skilled Carpenter or Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, framing, trim carpentry, and working with various tools and materials. This position offers opportunities for growth and skill development within the construction industry. Duties Construct, install, repair, and remodel structures using wood, metal, and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise project execution. Operate hand tools, power tools, equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Perform framing, drywall installation, siding, roofing, flooring installation, trim, and cabinet installation. Handle heavy lifting tasks and assist in demolition or remodeling projects as needed. Follow safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment. Measure accurately for cuttings and installations; ensure all work meets quality standards. Support team members with miscellaneous tasks such as caulking, fixture installation, door hanging, construction painting, clean up. Requirements Proven experience in construction or related fields such as remodeling or restoration industry experience. . Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment. Experience with framing (wood), drywall installation, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, trim or siding is desirable. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse projects across different sites. Prior construction site experience is required Valid driver's license preferred for site travel; reliable transportation necessary. This role is vital to the success of our projects and offers an engaging environment for those passionate about craftsmanship and building trades. Must have basic hand tools and a great attitude.
