Company Overview Waterline Industries is an award-winning general contractor dedicated to constructing and rehabilitating water and wastewater treatment facilities across the United States. Position Overview We are seeking experienced Concrete Form Carpenters to join our construction team in working on wastewater and water treatment plants . The successful candidate will be responsible for building, setting, and aligning a wide variety of concrete forms and structural elements. This role requires strong technical knowledge, precision, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Formwork Construction:
Build, install, and dismantle wood, metal, and engineered formwork systems for foundations, tanks, walls, slabs, channels, and elevated structures. Shape and assemble forms based on blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
Concrete Placement Support:
Assist with layout, reinforcement installation, and concrete placement activities. Ensure forms are properly braced, aligned, and sealed to prevent blowouts and ensure accurate finishes.
Blueprints & Layout:
Read and interpret construction drawings, structural details, and formwork plans. Measure, cut, and assemble form materials with precision.
Site Preparation & Coordination:
Prepare work areas, set elevations, and coordinate with laborers, equipment operators, and concrete crews. Install anchor bolts, embeds, blockouts, and other components required for wastewater and water treatment structures.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all site safety procedures, including confined-space awareness, fall protection, and PPE requirements. Comply with environmental, regulatory, and project-specific safety standards unique to wastewater treatment plant construction.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect formwork for accuracy and durability before concrete pours. Ensure all work meets quality specifications and industry standards. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in concrete form carpentry (industrial, civil, or heavy construction preferred). Experience with wastewater treatment plants, water plants, pump stations, or similar infrastructure strongly preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, laser levels, and layout equipment. Ability to read and understand structural drawings, formwork schematics, and specifications. Strong knowledge of form systems such as Symons, Peri, Doka, and custom-built formwork. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
OSHA 10 REQUIRED.
