Job Description
About us Ainsworth and Son Carpentry in Whitefield, NH specializes in manufactured log home construction (primarily by Coventry and Moosehead). We also do traditional stick builds and remodeling work. Kevin has been in the building trades for over 25 years and was joined by his son, Ray, a few years ago to form Ainsworth and Son Carpentry. We are currently looking for an experienced carpenter. Prior experience with manufactured log home building would be helpful but not necessary for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Perform all aspects of the carpentry trade working on site with a small team
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials and equipment
- Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and plumb of structures
Requirements:
- Experience as a carpenter
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to take direction and stay on task.
- Reliable vehicle and proof of valid license required
- Basic tools required
- Must be comfortable with heights This is a great opportunity for an experienced carpenter who is skilled in various aspects of construction.
