Carpenter Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to blueprints or detailed instructions
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations in shop

• Proficient in blueprint reading, use of tools, measuring instruments, heavy machinery, and other related skills

Summary As a Carpenter Apprentice / Carpenter, you will support construction projects from framing to finish work under the supervision of experienced carpenters. You will apply core skills in hand tools, power tools, carpentry, and general construction to cut, fit, and install materials. Your role combines hands-on fabrication with safety compliance, blueprints, and basic math to ensure accurate measurements and quality results. With premium skills in frame and trim carpentry and construction estimating, you will contribute to efficient project progress and high workmanship on a variety of building endeavors.
