Lead Carpenter

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including framing, trim, and finish carpentry Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately. Manage daily site operations including heavy equipment operation, heavy lifting tasks, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Coordinate with project managers to track progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation related to construction projects. Skilled in various trades including masonry, roofing, siding installation, plastering, woodworking, framing carpentry (including woodwork), trim carpentry, stucco application, and restoration work. Hands-on expertise with hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation (such as cranes or forklifts), and heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction sites involving drywall installation (including drywall finishing), and remodeling projects. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to manage teams effectively across multiple trades. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately while coordinating multiple ongoing tasks on-site.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
