Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced Residential Exterior Carpenter Supervisor to lead and oversee exterior construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, customer service, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with various construction management tools. This role involves supervising crews, ensuring project quality, and maintaining safety standards on residential exterior projects like siding and roofing. The position offers an opportunity to manage multiple projects while ensuring timely completion within budget and quality specifications. Responsibilities Lead and supervise residential exterior carpentry crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols Implement OSHA safety standards and conduct safety meetings regularly on-site Manage subcontractors and coordinate with other trades involved in the project Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, changes, and issues for reporting purposes Experience Proven supervisory experience in residential exterior carpentry or general construction projects Extensive construction site experience with a focus on exterior building components such as siding, roofing, trim, and related finishes Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices on residential construction sites Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and contracts effectively Demonstrated ability to lead teams, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
