Part-Time Interior Handyman / Finish Carpenter Fix It All Genie Rutherford, NJ Job Details Part-time $28 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Hand tools Full Job Description Fix It All Genie is a professional handyman and home improvement company serving Bergen County and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for a part-time Interior Handyman / Finish Carpenter with the potential to become full-time. This position is for someone who is skilled, dependable, clean, and takes pride in professional-quality work inside occupied homes.
Typical work includes:
Drywall repair and finishing Interior painting and preparation Trim installation and repairs Interior door installation and adjustments Door hardware installation Basic window and storm window installs Bathroom repairs, caulking, silicone, and minor tile repair Light electrical work such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, switches, and outlets Light plumbing work such as faucets, sinks, toilets, and basic plumbing repairs Furniture and equipment assembly Flooring repairs and small installs, including vinyl plank, laminate, and transitions General handyman repairs and punch list work We focus on quality installation, clean work, and professional service — not rushed work.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Basic hand tools Professional communication and appearance Ability to work inside occupied homes professionally and respectfully 5+ years of experience preferred Must be dependable and detail oriented Pay is $28-$35 per hour depending on experience and skill set. This is a part-time position with strong potential to become full-time as the company continues to grow.
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
