Duties Lead and supervise the precast concrete team during fabrication and installation processes, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide precise assembly and placement of precast elements Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to schedule work phases and ensure timely project progression Oversee building of concrete forming, finishing, and curing processes to meet quality standards Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently on-site Ensure proper use of hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling precast components Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase to maintain craftsmanship excellence and resolve any issues promptly Requirements Proven experience in construction with a strong background in carpentry, masonry, or heavy construction projects involving precast concrete elements Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques including stucco or plastering as needed for precast applications Ability to operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, concrete mixers, pumps, and other construction equipment safely Familiarity with metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing or renovation work is advantageous Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete pumping systems and heavy equipment operation Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively on complex projects Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for site transportation needs Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Lead Carpenter Precast to lead innovative projects that shape skylines!
