Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead to oversee and coordinate construction projects with a focus on metal building erection, concrete forming, and comprehensive site management. As a vital leader on our team, you will guide crews through complex construction tasks, ensure safety compliance, and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality, efficiency, and innovation. Duties Lead and supervise construction crews in metal and wood building erection, masonry, framing, roofing, siding, stucco, and restoration projects. Oversee concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, and remodeling activities to ensure precision and adherence to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to coordinate tasks effectively across various trades. Manage construction site operations including heavy equipment operation, heavy lifting, use of hand tools and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Coordinate with project managers to schedule work phases, monitor progress, and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain project timelines. Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site inspections to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Mentor team members in carpentry (including trim carpentry and woodwork), metal stud framing, framing carpentry, and other specialized skills to enhance team capabilities. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, and remodeling. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for diverse construction projects. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, plastering, roofing systems, siding installation, and restoration work. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts as well as hand tools and power tools used in various trades. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards; ability to enforce safety procedures effectively on-site. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills; capable of managing multiple teams across different trades. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding construction activities involving frame carpentry or working at heights.
