Job Overview Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader - Residential Construction ($28-$36/hr) Black Castle CNY is hiring a Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader for residential construction projects in the Syracuse area. We are a hands-on general contractor specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, interior renovations, and exterior residential construction and Landscaping. Our work ranges from remodels and additions to structural and outdoor projects. No two weeks look the same. We're looking for someone reliable, adaptable, and capable of running a small crew without constant supervision. What You'll Be Doing Lead and/or work alongside a 2-4 man crew(s) Execute projects from demo through finish Handle kitchens, bathrooms, framing, siding, and general construction and landscape Maintain clean, organized job sites Coordinate occasionally with subs and vendors when needed Keep projects moving without daily micromanagement Requirements 5+ years of broad residential construction experience Confident from framing through finish Comfortable working on both interior and exterior projects Ability to lead a crew and make jobsite decisions Valid driver's license with insurable driving record Dependable, level-headed, and professional Reliability and steady performance matter just as much as skill.
