Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framing and/or Painting Subcontractor to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse building projects, from residential remodels to large-scale commercial developments. As a subcontractor, you will be responsible for executing framing and painting tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety in mind. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while maintaining high-quality standards that exceed expectations. This position is paid and ideal for experienced professionals eager to showcase their craftsmanship in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform framing tasks using various materials such as wood, metal studs, and structural components, ensuring adherence to blueprints and schematics. Execute painting projects including surface preparation, primer application, finishing coats, and detailed trim work. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, assemble, install, and finish framing or painting elements. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Manage heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment when necessary to support construction activities. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure seamless project flow and timely completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials. Skills Proven experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, or restoration projects. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety standards. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, and drywall installation. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Expertise in framing carpentry including woodworking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and remodeling techniques. Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing systems related to framing or painting tasks. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
