Job Description
Perform general carpentry; construct, repair and maintain structures, equipment, partitions, doors, windows, and other parts of facilities; and assist with general maintenance activities as directed.
EDUCATION
Minimum:
High school education with additional vocational school education in blueprint reading, or equivalent related experience
Preferred:
Mechanical drawing, carpentry, and woodworking preferred.
LICENSE:
Minimum:
Current New York state driver's license free of violations consistent with FLH policy.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
WORK
EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
Two to three years of recent experience in the building trades.
Preferred:
Healthcare experience
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
