In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and construction tasks across various projects. Your expertise will help ensure that buildings, facilities, and structures are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your carpentry skills and construction knowledge in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for craftsmanship. Duties Execute repairs and maintenance tasks on residential, commercial, or industrial properties, including drywall installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and painting. Perform framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking to support remodeling and renovation projects. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete construction tasks. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects such retail fixture installations and wall finishes Conduct plaster, drywall, and paint repairs as well as acoustical ceiling tile replacement Assist with plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, and fixture setup as needed. Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail on every project. Qualifications Proven experience in construction, carpentry, drywall finishing or general handyman work. Clean drivers license required Possible occasional overnight travel required Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and safety protocols on construction sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship. Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical experience is highly desirable. Prior experience in the restoration industry, store fixture installation or retail remodeling is a plus.
