Carpenter

Iona University seeks a general carpenter responsible for maintaining: All campus buildings interior and exterior structures and components Interior and exterior minor construction projects Small cabinet making and furniture construction and repairs The scheduled hours for this position are 7:30 am - 4:00. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in all areas of the trades department as needed Flooring, ceilings, walls, light carpentry, light electrical. Maintain windows on campus Keep all flags on campus in good repair Assist with painting when required masonry experience Respond to requests from the Supervisor to assist in other departments as needed Respond to request for snow removal Any other duties as requested Required Experience Ceiling, wall and floor tile installation Proficient painter Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
