Overview Join our team as a Residential Carpenter and bring expert craftsmanship to our remodeling, projects. In this role, you will be responsible for building, installing, repairing, and finishing structures and fixtures that enhance the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of homes. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry projects. Construct, install, and repair frameworks such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets, siding, roofing, and trim using hand tools and power tools. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering to ensure structural integrity. Fabricate custom fixtures and components through woodworking and metalworking techniques; handle fabrication tasks with precision. Install fixtures including cabinetry, doors, moldings, water damage restoration components, and other interior or exterior elements. Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling; utilize scaffolding or ladders for elevated work. Read schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC components, and other building systems. Assist with remodeling projects by performing demolition, restoration work and finishing touches such as painting or caulking. Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to safety protocols; identify potential hazards proactively. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry or related construction fields. Proficiency in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, sanders), is required. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of various construction techniques including framing (wooden or metal stud), roofing, siding installation, window installation, drywall finishing (including plastering), tile laying, flooring installation, and cabinet hanging. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to adapt to changing project requirements seamlessly.
