Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry techniques and be able to work on a range of projects, from residential renovations to commercial installations. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality artistry, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites. Duties Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform carpentry tasks effectively. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications. Install structures such as roofs, doors, windows, and cabinets with precision. Conduct trim carpentry work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of interiors. Ensure all work is plumb and level, in accordance with building codes and safety regulations. Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate material requirements for projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures. Experience with CNC machinery is a plus, but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship in all aspects of carpentry work. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
