Job Description

Carpenter
  • Full Time with Visa Sponsorship in Akron Our company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Akron.
This is a full-time position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood and other materials. Your duties will include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling structures according to specifications. You may also be required to operate power tools and equipment, as well as perform basic maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience as a Carpenter and possess strong technical skills. You must also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Additionally, good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Carpenter
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • Proficient with power tools and equipment

Responsibilities:
  • Study blueprints or sketches to determine project requirements
  • Measure materials accurately and cut them to the required size
  • Assemble structures using nails, screws, or adhesives according to specifications
  • Install fixtures such as windows, frames, trim, or hardware
  • Operate power tools such as saws, drills, or sanders
  • Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Ensure work meets quality standards and building codes
