Job Description

Carpenter
  • Maintenance and Repair Specialist We are in search of a skilled Carpenter to join our team as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist.
This position will be based in Akron, USA and is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English. This is a contract job with a salary of $1600 per month, with no accommodation provided. However, we will cover your visa and travel expenses. As a Maintenance and Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks including repairs, installations, and renovations. You will be working on both residential and commercial properties, so experience in both areas is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on doors, windows, walls, floors, and other structures
  • Installing new fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, and countertops
  • Repairing or replacing damaged or broken furniture
  • Assisting with renovations by measuring and cutting materials to fit specific spaces
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and using proper tools
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide quality service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
  • Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
  • Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
