Join Trade31 as a Carpenter, where you'll work closely with experienced team members to develop your skills and deliver exceptional craftsmanship. In this role, you'll take on a variety of carpentry tasks while contributing to a team committed to Safety, Quality, and Production (SQP). JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Measuring & modifying construction materials using hand and power tools Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment. Perform common tasks under the guidance of journeyman carpenters, including: Rough and Finish Carpentry Structural and Non-Structural Framing/Drywall Millwork, Trim & Casework Exterior Façade Improvements Doors, Frames & Hardware Glass and Glazing System Caulking/Coatings and other Specialty Construction items General Trades and Demolition Knowledge of common construction processes for residential and commercial properties, as well as the methods used to carry out these tasks. Knowledge of tools & equipment to be operated and used to perform common construction tasks Maintain and care for tools and equipment. Report malfunctions as needed. Observe and learn from experienced lead carpenters' techniques and skills as well as mentor Apprentice Carpenters and collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and to company standards. Specialization in specific task skills and desire to learn other common construction tasks Prepare and clean up jobsites, removing debris and discarded material. Collaborate with other construction professionals as part of a team. Participate in on-the-job training and educational opportunities to enhance carpentry skills. All OSHA, EPA, and ODH policies, procedures, and regulations must be followed to maintain a safe work environment. Follow all company and site-specific safety and health program policies. 4+ years of experience as an Apprentice Carpenter, with a solid understanding of carpentry tools and equipment OSHA 10 certification preferred Relevant equipment training aligned with Carpenter responsibilities Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions Commitment to safety standards and regulations Strong communication and teamwork skills Huseman Group is an
