Shift Location:
Grafton, OH Pay:
$20.00-$25.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our growing construction team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and woodworking tasks on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with wood materials, reading measurements, operating carpentry tools, and completing quality craftsmanship from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building, repairing, and installing structures while working in a team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth. Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry work on residential and commercial projects Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other building materials Construct and repair framing, walls, decks, porches, overhangs, and other structural components Install doors, windows, trim, molding, cabinetry, and related finish carpentry materials Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets quality standards Assist with project layout, material preparation, and job site setup Inspect completed work and make adjustments as necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule Qualifications Previous carpentry, woodworking, framing, remodeling, or construction experience required Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic construction math Experience using common carpentry hand tools and power tools Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings is preferred Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working on ladders and elevated surfaces when necessary Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift Why Join Our Team Competitive pay based on experience Consistent full-time schedule with overtime opportunities Variety of projects that keep the work interesting Opportunity to develop additional carpentry and construction skills Supportive, team-oriented work environment Long-term career opportunity with a growing company If you have carpentry experience, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we encourage you to apply today. #INDLukeAdv
