Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Trim Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and detailing interior and exterior trim elements to achieve a polished, professional look on a variety of projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring every detail is precise and aesthetically pleasing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship to enhance the quality and appearance of residential and commercial sites This position is not for a general handyman or punch-list technician. We are looking for a true craftsperson with a strong eye for precision, fit, and finish. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window casings, wainscoting, and custom millwork with precision. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of trim and finishing details. Use hand tools (such as chisels, hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools (including saws, drills, sanders) safely and efficiently to complete tasks. Prepare surfaces by caulking, filling gaps with putty or spackle, and sanding to achieve smooth finishes before installation. Collaborate with framing carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless integration of trim with structural elements like metal studs or wood framing. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Experience Proven experience in finish carpentry or trim carpentry. (This is not an entry level role) Hands-on expertise with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and finishing work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship standards. Please apply with a brief summary of your trim carpentry experience.
