In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing interior and exterior trim components with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating polished, high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, or restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your carpentry skills while working on diverse projects that demand attention to detail and a passion for excellence. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim moldings, baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window sills, and other decorative woodwork using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure quality standards are met. Perform framing work for interior partitions or exterior structures as needed, including metal stud framing and heavy lifting tasks. Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and ensuring proper use of hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, or related construction roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills and nail guns; and fabrication equipment like CNC machines is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with building codes related to carpentry work. Experience with drywall finishing (plastering), fixture installation (doors, cabinets), roofing details, metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying or electrical experience is a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights comfortably; excellent attention to detail; strong problem-solving skills. Prior construction site experience in restoration industry settings or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
