McGuire Fence and Deck based in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Carptener to join our team. If you have a passion for carpentry, take pride in your workmanship, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of fence and deck construction, including measuring, cutting, assembling materials and other construction related tasks. Help with the installation and repair of fences, decks, gates, and related structures. Drive company truck to do regular dump runs Pickup supplies and materials on a regular basis Tow trailers as needed Perform general construction tasks such as digging post holes, mixing concrete, carrying materials and other related tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
2 years of construction related experience Clean driving record and experience driving trailers Ability to use basic carpentry tools and equipment. Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy materials. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
