Job Description

Kimball Construction is seeking an experienced Journeyman Finish Carpenter to join our team. We build custom homes, major remodels, additions, multifamily projects, and select commercial projects throughout Lane County. We're not looking for an average carpenter. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, solves problems independently, and consistently delivers high-quality work. If you're the type of carpenter who notices details others miss, keeps a clean jobsite, and wants to work alongside professionals who care about quality, we'd like to talk with you. This position offers a high level of autonomy. You'll often work independently and be trusted to manage your work efficiently and professionally. When additional help is needed for material handling, wall raising, or other labor-intensive tasks, we'll provide support. Otherwise, you should be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your projects. Responsibilities Finish carpentry Cabinet and trim installation Doors, windows, and hardware installation Punch list completion Site protection and jobsite organization Light demolition Framing and carpentry repairs as needed Quality control and attention to detail throughout construction Other tasks necessary to successfully complete projects Qualifications Journeyman-level carpentry skills Strong finish carpentry experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Personal hand and power tools Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds Ability to pass a drug test Commitment to quality, safety, teamwork, and profitability Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Consistent year-round work Opportunities for advancement Annual wage reviews Paid time off Retirement savings plan Paid drive time Mileage reimbursement Local work only throughout Lane County If you're a highly skilled carpenter who takes pride in doing things the right way, we'd like to hear from you.
