Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter & Deck Builder Apprentice, starting at $20 an hour! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in carpentry and deck construction while working on diverse projects. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, from framing and trim carpentry to deck building and restoration work. This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow their craft, and contribute to high-quality construction projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with framing, trim carpentry, and deck construction using hand tools and power tools Support the installation of siding, roofing, doors, windows, and fixtures according to project specifications Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed Help with surface preparation including caulking, plastering, painting, and restoration tasks such as water damage repair and mold remediation Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely on construction sites Support fabrication and assembly tasks using CNC machines or other manufacturing tools when applicable Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction tools including hand tools and power tools Some experience or familiarity with construction site environments preferred Willingness to learn various carpentry skills such as framing, trim work, and fixture installation Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods Prior handyman experience or exposure to remodeling, flooring installation, tile laying, or electrical work is advantageous but not requiredThis role provides a fantastic foundation for anyone passionate about construction and carpentry.
