Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial construction projects including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, restaurants, and other commercial buildings. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Perform framing, drywall, finishing, trim work, blocking, and installation work Install doors, hardware, cabinetry, ceilings, metal studs, and commercial fixtures Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized job site Work with project managers and other trades to complete projects on schedule Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures Complete punch list items and final detail work Qualifications Previous experience in commercial carpentry/construction preferred Ability to read blueprints and construction plans Knowledge of commercial building methods and materials Experience with metal stud framing and drywall is a plus Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Own basic hand tools preferred
