Job Description

Who We Are Harth Builders, a second-generation design-build and remodeling firm, is seeking an Experienced Remodeling Carpenter to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly skilled, well-rounded carpenter with a minimum of 10 years of residential remodeling and construction experience who takes pride not only in their craftsmanship, but also in how they represent themselves with clients, trade partners, and fellow team members. Professionalism, communication, problem-solving, and efficiency are just as critical as the work itself. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, can think independently, adapt to changing conditions & process as well as confidently perform a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks with minimal supervision. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications Perform high-level finish and rough carpentry on residential remodeling and custom home projects Install cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, framing, siding, blocking, and specialty finishes Troubleshoot unforeseen jobsite conditions and develop practical solutions efficiently Maintain exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship standards Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners, project managers, trade partners, and team members Help maintain organized, safe, and productive jobsites Assist in mentoring and supporting less experienced carpenters when needed Work collaboratively with a full team to keep projects moving forward while protecting quality and client experience What We're Looking For Minimum 10 years of hands-on residential remodeling carpentry experience Strong experience with computers and multiple construction softwares Knowledge of all phases of remodeling and residential construction Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset High level of efficiency, organization, and jobsite awareness Experience interacting directly with clients in occupied homes Strong communication skills with clients, supervisors, trades, and team members Ability to manage changing priorities and maintain professionalism under pressure Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Valid driver's license and reliable construction transportation required Positive attitude, strong work ethic, leadership qualities, and team-first mentality Why Harth Builders?
