Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks that help bring construction projects to life efficiently and safely. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have a keen eye for detail, and are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components, trim, siding, cabinetry, doors, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications Prepare construction sites by performing concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and site cleanup Assist with roofing, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and plastering tasks as needed Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site using woodworking machinery and CNC equipment Install plumbing fixtures, electrical components, drywall (including stucco), caulking, and flooring materials Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and reading detailed schematics or blueprints Strong knowledge of various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinet installation Experience with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards Ability to perform remodeling work such as flooring installation, tile laying, painting, siding application, and fixture hanging Skilled in working with heavy materials like rebar or concrete forms; experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation processes Capable of reading schematics for electrical or plumbing systems; experience with CNC or fabrication equipment is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged physical activity; excellent attention to detail in craftsmanship Prior experience in the restoration industry or handyman services enhances your candidacy Must have own transportation and basic tools Join our team where your skills will make a tangible impact!
